Church Family Campout 2017: May 11-13th

Family Campout 2017 - Thursday afternoon thru Saturday, May 11-13th. Come when you can for as long as you can. At the Deane’s in Catlett, VA. Porta-Potty and Handwash Station provided. There are handouts in the foyer with more details on what to bring and what is available. If you have any questions please see Joe or Robin Deane or Dave Dise. VBS 2017

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: VBS is so wonderful, we are going to do it twice! We will have VBS at SRPC on July 10-14. We will have VBS in Herndon for the First Asian Indian Presbyterian Church on July 25-28. We need volunteers! If you are able to help with one or both of these programs—please add your name to the sign up sheet on the bulletin board. Also, please pray for this year’s VBS program as plans start to come together.

This year we will do a Medieval-themed program titled: “A Mighty Fortress: In Jesus, the Victory is Won!”

Northern Virginia Women’s Conference on Reformed Theology: April 7-8

Northern Virginia Women’s Conference on Reformed Theology to be held April 7-8 at Covenant Reformed Baptist Church, 7336 Riley Road, Warrenton, Virginia 20187.

The theme is NO LITTLE WOMEN: Equipping All Women in the Household of God. The speaker is Aimee Byrd, who writes the “Housewife Theologian” web log and recently spoke at Potomac Presbytery’s monthly meeting. Ladies Book Club meets Thursday, March 16 at 7pm

Ladies Book Club is reading is Muslims and Christians at the Table: Promoting Understanding Among North American Muslims by Bruce A. McDowell and Anees Zaka. We will cover Parts 1 and 2 for our next meeting. We’ll meet at Maria Ettema’s home on Thursday, March 16 at 7pm. Copies of the book are $9.
