Monday Youth Group! (7pm-8:15pm)

HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP

Topic: What is philosophy?

A continuation of our apologetics/worldview series!

We will examine the connections and consistency between:

(1) how we know what we know

(2) the nature of reality and

(3) how we should live our lives

And how to approach these from a distinctively Biblical perspective.

High School Youth Group – Monday 7pm

The high school youth group for grades 9 through 12 will be meeting at the church each Monday from 7-8pm. We unfortunately don’t have a teacher for junior high ages yet, but we could certainly start a group for that age range if a teacher becomes available. Thanks for understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Britt McNeill.

VBS Volunteers Needed

Prayerfully consider being a part of Vacation Bible School this summer. Volunteers are needed for director and staff. Please see Britt McNeill if you would like to participate in this special ministry. Please add your name to the signup sheet on the bulletin board if you are interested.

Summer Family Sunday School Begins June 17th

On June 17th our summer Sunday school session begins. It will be a survey of a variety of heroes of the faith through history from just after New Testament times to the current day. The lessons will be for all age groups and will focus on how God has worked through people in history. This family style Sunday school is provided in lieu of the usual age-segregated Sunday school program in order to give the children’s Sunday school teachers a break for the summer. There will still be a nursery for very young children.

Daring Girls Ice Skating Outing

On Saturday February 18th we will be meeting at the Harris Pavilion at 1p.m. for ice skating and will visit a cupcake shop afterwards. Last meeting we talked about how God has made each of us unique and we are each His masterpiece.  There will be a small reward for each girl who can recite Ephesians 2:10 for me tomorrow.  Contact Robin Deane if you have questions.
