Missions Banquet: Please mark your calendars for Saturday, October 29 at 6pm for our potluck Missions Banquet. Please bring a main dish and side, salad, or dessert to feed your family plus a few guests. We will have guest missionary speakers. Children are welcome. Help is needed for set up on Friday, Oct. 28th. Please speak to Gina if you are able to help. Also, please add your name to the signup sheet with how many are coming from your family so we will know how many places to set up.
Food Assistance Request: On the first Sunday of each month, the SRPC Diaconate is collecting canned and dry goods for the local food pantry. Please bring an item or two to donate to the local food pantry and place it in the bin in the foyer.
Elizabeth Albright will be making up a new schedule for nursery workers. If you are able to help with this important ministry please contact Elizabeth and let her know your availability.
Crossroads PCA in Dumfries is asking for volunteers to help with a tutoring ministry at Orchard Landing Apts. Men or women 18 years old or older. You would need to be able to donate two hours once a week (Monday or Wednesday). See flier posted on bulletin board in the hallway for more details. Also, fliers are available to take on the table in hallway.
SRPC Spring Workday: Â May 7th from 8am to 12 noon. Â Volunteers are needed to help spruce up our building and grounds. Â Add your name to the sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board in the hallway or send an email to Josh Powell.
Walk for Life 2016 on April 30: Volunteers are needed for Walk for Life in Woodbridge. You can sign up at the http://vols.pt/3muMAw or let Nancy Gennaro know you would like to volunteer.
If you took home a Care Net Baby Bottle Campaign bottle, please remember to bring the baby bottle filled with spare change to church this coming Sunday. If you have questions please contact Nancy Gennaro.
