Fall Church Picnic- Oct 5th: Our annual fall picnic will be held Saturday, October 5th, from 3 p.m. until dark, at the Deane property. Food will be served at 4:30 p.m. There will be a firepit in the evening as well. The following are provided: hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, drinks, paper products, and utensils. Please bring: a dessert and a side dish/salad to share (please bring serving utensils), lawn chairs and/or picnic blanket for your family, portable canopy if you want one, fishing pole and bait if you want to fish, football, frisbee, etc. Parents: There is a pond on the property. Please keep track of your little ones. We want everyone to be safe. There will be a sign-up in the foyer if you plan to attend. For any questions, please see Robin Deane or Gina Powell.

Ladies Morning Bible Study: Wednesday, October 2, 2019
Ladies Morning Bible Study will meet Wednesday, October 2, 2019, 10am until 11:30am at the church building. The doors will be open at 10am to allow time to visit and get settled before the Bible study which will begin promptly at 10:30am.
A nursery is provided.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that we will have the church family picnic on Saturday, October 5th, there will be no fellowship meal on Sunday, October 6, 2019.

Fall Festival: Saturday, November 2nd: 11am-2pm, rain or shine. Beginning this week, there will be signup sheets on the bulletin board. It is an opportunity to reach out to the community and a chance of fellowship for people in the church as well as outside the church. For any questions contact Gina Powell.

Weekly Ladies Bible Study Begins September 25, 2019
The weekly ladies’ Bible study will begin on September 25, 2019 at 10:30am. Please note, this Bible study formerly met on Tuesday mornings at 10am. The new schedule will be Wednesday mornings 10:30 am.
We will be studying Hebrews using Let’s Study Hebrews by Hywel Jones. All ladies are welcome to attend. The study guides are $12 each. We also are working on getting child care for those who need it.
Please email Laura McNeill to let her know if you would like to order a book and if you will need child care. Please indicate the number of children and their ages so we can plan for enough nursery workers.
Tuesday Supper and Prayer Meeting: September 10, 2019
There will be a Word, Prayer, and Praise meeting at the church on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. EVERYONE is welcome to attend this time which includes a short Bible lesson, a time of prayer, and a time of singing hymns and praise songs.
There will be a supper at 6:30 pm before the prayer meeting. Please sign up if you plan to attend the meal.
Ladies Tea: September 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm
Ladies Tea: Saturday, September 28 at 2:00 pm at church. It will be a lovely opportunity for women to get together. Please add your name to the signup sheet on the bulletin board. We will also honor women with new babies or about to have a new baby. Please speak to Gina Powell if you would like to donate towards a gift card for Faith, Kendra, and Amy. Donations to gift cards are optional.

Men and Boys Campout: Oct. 17-19, 2019
Men and Boys Campout- Oct 17-19: The annual campout for all men and boys will be held Thursday afternoon thru Saturday, October 17-19th. Come when you can for as long as you can. It will be at the Deane property. A porta-potty, sink, non-potable water, and firewood are provided. Many activities are available: Fishing; Hiking; Horse-shoes; Tomahawk Throwing; Wood-splitting; Safe Firearms Range; Frisbee golf; Kayak and Canoe; Rope Wall; Archery.
