Ladies Book Club: March 21, 2019
Ladies Book Club will discuss Part 3 of “Bonhoeffer on the Christian Life: From the Cross, for the World”. We will meet Thursday, March 21 at 6:30 at Susan Shirasago’s. Contact Maria Ettema if you would like more details or a copy of the book.
First Sunday Food Collection: Sunday, March 3, 2019
Food Assistance Request: On the first Sunday of each month, the SRPC Diaconate is collects canned and dry goods for the local food pantry. Please bring an item or two to donate to the local food pantry and place it in the bin in the foyer.
Fellowship Meal: Sunday, March 3
On Sunday, March 3, we will have a Fellowship meal after the service. Please bring a main dish and either a side, a salad, or a dessert. As a guide for how much to bring think in terms of bringing enough to feed your own family plus a few guests. This way there is plenty of food in case any visitors who did not bring food stay for the meal.

SRPC Teen Night: Feb. 22, 2019 at 5:30pm
There will be a Spriggs Road Teen Night on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 5:30pm at the Goode’s home.
There will be food, Games, and Part 2 of “Why Do I Believe the Bible” video and discussion.

SRPC Afternoon Play Group: Feb. 28, 2019 at 1pm
There will be an afternoon play group for kids of all ages at the church building on February 28, 1-3pm. We will have indoor games and crafts. Each mom please bring child’s snack/water bottle. Please join us for great opportunity for children to play and moms to socialize! Feel free to invite friends! Please RSVP to Amy Bowels if you plan to attend.
Help Needed for FLOCK Set-up: Friday, Feb. 8 at 7pm

Valentine FLOCK: Feb. 9, 2019, 6pm
Valentine FLOCK (Fun-loving Older Covenant Kids) will be Saturday, February 9 at 6pm. FLOCK events are fun-filled events for the adults of our church family. There will be nursery available for those who need it.
A sign up sheet has been posted on the bulletin board in the foyer. If you have not yet signed up and you wish to attend please email Gina Powell as soon as possible with an RSVP of how many will attend and specify if you will have children in the nursery.
Please bring a main dish AND choose either a side or dessert to bring with the main dish.
We will have a Valentine FLOCK game: Please send a picture of yourself as a child doing some activity (horseback riding, soccer, gymnastics, etc.). We would like to collect one picture for each person attending. The game will be to match the childhood picture with the adults attending. Please send your picture to Maria Ettema, or place it in the envelope provided on the bulletin board.
Tuesday Word, Prayer, Praise Meeting: Feb. 5, 2019, 7pm
There will be a Word, Prayer, Praise Meeting on Feb. 5, 2019 at 7pm. All are welcome to attend. The Word, Prayer, Praise Meeting consists of a short lesson from God’s Word presented by one of our pastors, a time of taking prayer requests and praying, and a time of singing hymns and praise songs.
This meeting is family-friendly and all people of all ages are welcome to attend. The children are always particularly excited to be able to request their favorite hymns to sing.
There is also a meal before the WPP Meeting that begins at 6:30pm. If you plan to attend the meal, please sign up by clicking the button below.

CANCELED: Tuesday Supper and Prayer Meeting, Jan. 29, 2019
The forecast for tomorrow predicts 1-3” of snow mixed in with rain and sub-freezing temperatures after sundown. In light of this, the Session has decided to cancel the Tuesday evening supper and the gathering that follows.
The Tuesday schedule will resume next Tuesday, February 5, weather permitting.
Please be careful tomorrow if you have to be out tomorrow.
