Sunday School and Worship Cancelled: January 13, 2019

The Elders have been monitoring the weather situation throughout the day.   In addition to the national weather reports, a reliable source has informed us that FEMA has issued a winter storm warning for the Northern Virginia and Metro DC area expecting accumulations of snow higher than the projections made earlier, around 5-10 inches, perhaps as much as a foot in areas west of the District.   Snowfall is expected to begin within the next 2-3 hours (around 6 or 7pm) and begin increasing in intensity around 3 a.m.  Peak hours will be from 6 a.m. until noon on Sunday, with 1-3 inches per hour expected!
Based on this, we believe it is prudent to cancel Sunday School and corporate Worship for tomorrow.
